Happy to meet you, I’m Paul, a certified professional coach that has spent over 20 years leading and coaching teams from large to small corporate settings.

I saw the social media wave coming early and capitalized on that, writing five books in the Facebook/Social Media space and acting as an advisor for new marketing technologies, winning awards and doing a national book tour and signings.

My books include Facebook Marketing for Dummies (Wiley 2009), Social Media and the Contact Center for Dummies (Wiley Custom Publishing 2010), Facebook Advertising for Dummies (Wiley 2010), Facebook Marketing for Dummies 2nd Edition (Wiley 2011) and Facebook Marketing for Dummies 3rd Edition (Wiley 2012). I was also an early adopter of the good old blog and mine, Marketing Darwinism, has been recognized and put on some pretty impressive lists over the years.

I’ve appeared on Fox News, and my articles have been featured in BusinessWeek, The New York Times and Forbes. I’ve had the chance to share my marketing thought leadership as a featured speaker for the American Marketing Association, BtoB Magazine, CMO Club, MarketingProfs, Marketing Sherpa, Marketing Executives Networking Group (MENG) and IT Services Marketing Association (ITSMA).

I see the next wave coming, with respect to AI and machine learning, and I want to coach people to prepare for the next step.

On the personal side, family is very important to me. My wife is a very successful jewelry designer and we have two adult sons. I am an avid CrossFit fan, along with mediation. I’m a sailing buff, having sailed competitively in races in open ocean logging over 1,000 open ocean miles. I also play in a Grateful Dead tribute band called Terrapin.
